1. Who we are
DayTrace is a product of Cyans SEZC Ltd, a company registered in Anguilla, B.W.I. ("Cyans", "we", "us"). Questions can be sent to info@cyans.ai.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address or phone number. No name, passport, or government ID is required or stored.
- Location data: GPS coordinates collected periodically in the background while tracking is enabled. Coordinates are used solely to derive the country you are in and a daily day-count per jurisdiction.
- Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, error events) retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security.
- Payment data: processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your card details.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the DayTrace service: counting days, calculating residency risk, sending threshold alerts.
- To generate exports you request (CSV, PDF travel summary).
- To communicate service-related notices (never marketing without your consent).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.
No security measure is perfect. We take reasonable precautions, but we cannot guarantee that your data will never be accessed, disclosed, or altered by unauthorised parties. Use the service accordingly.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and location data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@cyans.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us at info@cyans.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you via email if changes are material. Continued use of DayTrace after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
